I feel this way too, but my experience is that is not a popular opinion in this thread so I didn't want to say it haha

My unpopular opinion is that In The Wake Of Determination is probably my least favorite album of theirs.

In the Wake is my second least favorite.

  4. Same. I remember being disappointed when it came out because they kinda released the heaviest song from it first, but it contains quite a few staples.

Remember A Time, initially a grower, is the one that stayed on my rotation the most for the past decade. It's so Weezer-y and fun. Honestly, as strange as that sounds considering the negative experience they seemed to have making it or releasing and touring it, this album sounds like they had so much fun in the writing process, if that makes sense.

Black Swan > Wake > Page > Constant > Wolves for me.
Appreciate that yall can get something out of Wolves, but it just sounds like butt rock to me. I should probably try it out again but I have on several occasions already.

The best songs on Wolves are better than the best ones on The Constant for sure.

I wish they would re-evaluate The Constant. To the Burial and Won Threw Ate deserve to be live staples.

I had ordered the Wolves vinyl and was wondering why it hadn't shipped yet. They replied saying they didn't have enough stock to fulfill my order and will issue a refund. I'm so pissed.

Seriously? That’s a bummer. I regret not getting one when i had the chance. Been thinking of biting the bullet on a pricier copy online. They say more are coming but who knows when that will actually be :(

Yeah, the worst part is that they were selling copies at their shows a week after orders were made. At least make sure all orders can be fulfilled before selling them at shows.

Went ahead and ordered a sealed copy off of discogs. I actually had some credit card rewards so it ended up being less than what the band was charging with the high shipping cost.

Ryan just posted on Instagram that they are going into the studio within a month to make the new album. Looks like we will have it sometime next year!

It's going to be really interesting to see what they end up making with Colin Brittain as the producer, and what kind of sound they're going for. Since he's one of the guys riding/creating the nu nu pop punk wave these days.

i think they were just about to enter the studio right before covid hit, and then it got put on hold. It seems like they just kept writing and started working with other people and are just now ready to record.

All of the studio clips they've posted on Patreon have sounded great so far. Sounds like it's going to be a bit more riffy than Wolves, which I'm 100% in support of.

Was interesting hearing them rank their albums in the most recent podcast. Also nice to hear some more details behind the recording of the constant.
