I thought it was pretty good. And big respect for actually singing live. Singing like that and dancing at the same time is not fucking easy.

I know this question may still be a bit early, but where is everyone thinking SOUR will be placed on their personal year-end lists? For me, it’s competing for number 1 with Wolf Alice.

It'll be way higher than I ever expected. For me, the highs are really high and the lows are OK, so as a whole album it's not my favorite... but it'll still be on my list foooo sho

I think it'll probably narrowly miss my top 10, but would make top 20 for sure

Not in the top 20 for me

Probably in the 11-20 range. Maybe 21-30 depending on what the fall looks like. It’s good, but I definitely find myself returning to individual songs more often than I feel moved to play the whole album.

It's in my top 10 right now, but I've only listened to ~15 albums this year so...

Probably would make a top 50 if I make one, but probably not too 10 or 20.

It will probably show somewhere in my top 20. I have no goddamn clue how any order will shake out right now though.

I have like seven albums that could be my number 1 right now. Weird year.

This year has had so many amazing releases. Wolf Alice and Olivia Rodrigo are competing for my number 1 right now, but I have so many albums I haven’t even gotten to yet, so who knows how my list will look at the end of the year!

Same. My favorite changes depending on the day, it seems. Definitely a different experience from last year, when I heard my favorite album of the year in October or November 2019 and knew it probably wasn't getting topped.

The last two times I heard a Kacey album the year was locked instantly. Not so this year

You know, I really thought coming into last week that Star-Crossed was going to shoot right to the top of my list. Maybe I put too much expectation on it.

Sour would be in my top 10. I go back to it a lot. Bo Burnham will prob be my number one which I never expected a comedy album to do. I'm also behind on like a zillion albums tho

Right note it’s The Killers for me, but that feels kind of soft. Expecting The Staves and Cassandra Jenkins to bump up again when the weather changes.

Not that this really matters but I’m pretty surprise she didn’t land on the Time 100 this year
