What happened not watching

 

That made me laugh for a very long time... and then laugh even more at every replay.

 

Yeah would be nice if he could get past the 5th inning/face batters 3 + times a game but in the very least I think he could be a really good multi-inning RPer.

Never been to the White Sox field (no clue what the name of the stadium is now) whenever I’ve been in Chicago they have been out of town.

Don’t see how he would be. He’s 10th in the AL in WAR, granted that’s not the only stat that matters but Othani, Vlad Jr and Semien are probably the top 3.

 

I'd be happy with top 5. I know they may as well just call it the WAR award now but this team would've been easy sellers at the deadline without him

 

it's an excellent place to watch a game! and usually much cheaper than tickets to see the Cubs. great food options and beer, too, supposedly (don't drink)

i took a tour of fenway when i was a kid bc we couldn't afford a game as it was peak Red Sox mania in the mid 00s

 

Just to clarify my stance on "not believing"... it would legit take a miracle miracle run for the Mets to make the playoffs. The schedule is impossible..and the last time the Mets had an "impossible stretch", we lost almost every game.

Every team were playing are all looking to make a run. Its the worst combo of games I could imagine.

This has 82-80 written all over it. And when we look back the difference is look at our record against the pirates, orioles, marlins... 13-13. Thats the season right there

I could see him getting 5th place for sure. I had no idea Correa was so high up on WAR and yeah that’s great Polanco, Ramirez and Mullins are having really good years but I agree can’t see them getting votes over Judge.

I remember randomly going to a Red Sox game in May of 2003 on a Saturday to see Pedro pitch against the Twins. I didn’t have tickets so I got them from a scalper 2 hours before the first pitch got 5 rows back from the Twins on deck circle and didn’t even pay face value for them. Fast forward 4 months later and you’d have to take out a 2nd mortgage to get those seats.

From 2004 to like 2010ish it was outrageous to go to a Sox game. I used to go to 3 or 4 per years but could only go to 1 during that time. Even now tickets are still pretty expensive although I am picky with where I sit at Fenway because there are a lot of poor viewing areas.
