Already have the vinyl pre-ordered. I generally prefer vinyl over tapes if the price difference isn't too drastic or its an album from a favorite like Full of Hell.

this album is becoming a classic. Fans of emotional, uplifting blackgaze, take note. If the second track does not give you chills then you have no soul.

 

keep coming back to the new Mortiferum track - so good

if you haven’t you need to hear it this could be metal aoty

 

Ludicra is reuniting for Northwest Terror Fest in 2022.

 

This is good. I think I’m just over Blackgaze in general. Nothing wrong with it, it’s just a genre I’ve grown apart from.

 

never heard of this band but digging this a lot. gonna check out their last album.

 

Kodama still slaps

 

This fucking slays. If Ringworm were a little more sludgy I’m sure they would sound like this. Throw some FoH in there for good measure as well.

 

I frequently forget about the album after tho. Maybe I’ll revisit today.

I’ve arrived to the conclusion that Spectral Voice is superior to Blood Incantation

I still enjoy Starspawn tho

 

also really been digging this one - excellent autumn album with some very melancholic melodies

less bleak than the rest of their output I’ve heard thus far

 

It depends on how you pick your poison...you're still getting hurled into the void through an Astral door regardless. I prefer Blood Incantation to Spectral Voice personally, but both bands are incredible.

 

Both bands are top tier but I would say my favorite depends on my mood. If I want a more Timeghoul and Demilich sound, I go for Blood Incantation, but if I want more of a Disembowelment and Rippikoulu sound, Spectral Voice all the way.

Black Curse was the better album last year for me from that group of musicians
