I had them at 7-5 when I predicted every Power 5 game and that seemed optimistic so I'll take 4-3 out of the gate given the back half of their schedule is entirely winnable

 

I don't have a lot of faith in our offense the second game of the season. And defensively, they'll be tough to stop.

 

Every P5 game, you say? Curious....where do you have Washington? Always like to hear the opinions of those who probably don't pay a ton of attention to Pac-12 football.

 

11-1 with a loss at Utah. Winning the PAC12CG and losing to Michigan in the Rose. Very favorable regular season schedule and I love the defense.

 

Nice. They sure looked good against Rutgers (I know, Rutgers) and their OOC is weak as dog shit so they should absolutely start 3-0. Then they gotta go down to Arizona where they haven't beaten any of the Arizona teams in quite some time but this year both of those teams are bad so they should do it.

I think the Sept 30th home game with Stanford followed up the next week @Oregon is the true barometer for where this team is. I came into this year with the belief they are still one more year away but it could happen this year. Pretty stoked on what Chris Petersen is doing here.

Gotta say I am surprised with the one loss you have @UTAH. That will be tough game without a doubt just surprised to see that as the one loss over Stanford, @ Oregon, USC.

The defense is nasty and the importance of the offense getting John Ross back cannot be understated. They needed him badly and he proved that on Saturday going like 5/90/2 and a kickoff return TD.

 

USC is somehow gonna mow down a bunch of Pac 12 teams with whoever their interim is, watch lol

 

USC coming to Washington oddly doesn't scare me at all. I could see them losing for sure but as it stands right now, I think Washington may run away with it.

Still...that game is a few months away and a lot can happen between now and then but pretty confident as it stands right now.

 

Absolutely no one should be scared of USC.

 

Of course, they got obliterated by Alabama but that's Alabama... I mean I'm assuming they dont just fold the season and send clay Belton back to bama in a handbasket

As an Auburn fan, I just don't know what to think at this point. Malzahn is off his rocker if he thinks this 3 QB situational system is going to work. Our defense finally looks good for the first time since '06-'07.

I just don't understand switching out a QB when he run 3 effective plays in a row or pulling him when he throws a 40yd pass. I'm not gonna pretend like I know football better than Malzahn, but I know better than to pull someone who is doing things effectively.
