I’m convinced this is a John Wick/Matrix crossover

 

I'd totally be down for this being true; this would absolutely blow people's minds

 

Why does this give me a “what if the matrix had its own flashpoint” vibe? Lol

Definitely excited to see it, both out of excitement and curiosity

 

My take on the lack of green hue is that the end of Revolutions had the Oracle and the Architect watching Sati’s sunrise over the dawn of a new era for the Matrix where it was a noticeably golden, colorful hue. I’m thinking perhaps that color grading here is meant to be reflective of that era of peace between humans and machines that is suddenly coming undone.

 

The Matrix adapted a new look when it changed in the end of Revolutions and that’s why it has a warmer color palette

This about to the best movie of 2021. Don’t @ me. Looks absolutely STUNNING.

 

a lot of nerds are already putting together the stills and saying the machines brought him back

 

They'd have to remake the original trilogy into a 26 episode series first

 

This looks pretty cool. We'll see how much the story makes sense, but visually I'm very into it.

 

This has been my theory.

 

This was the pallet at the end of Revolutions so it makes sense that the new "world" would look this way, at least to me.

 

I'm still tripping over how the first film itself would be showing in a scene in this new film

 

I haven't been this excited for a movie since the final trailer for The Force Awakens dropped during Monday Night Football in fall 2015.

Anyway, I've seen some insane theories/rumors online, and if they are true, this is a potential all timer for me, just inject it into my brain... Spoilers: Apparently it takes place in a version of The Matrix, where the 1999 film The Matrix exists... And there is actual talk in the movie about rebooting The Matrix as both a film franchise and an idea. Groff might be a WB exec. This lines up with my theory that Trinity and Young Morpheus are programs. This thing is so meta, it's literally a commentary on the very idea of doing a reboot

I already love this movie. I just feel like Lana has a clear vision and we're gonna see the movie she wanted to make.

 

This actually looks really good.
