disappointing behaviour coming from Apple and I hope this doesn't get swept under the rug.
I mean, at the end of the day I'm not not going to buy a new iPhone, but I hope there are levers to hold them accountable for stuff like this.

 

What cases does everyone use for their iPads? Specifically the iPad Pro? Trying to find a good one that is decently protective and feels sturdy standing up.

 

How is it a bad thing for consumers that Apple can no longer force them to pay for things through their app store? Seems like a win to me? Apps like Spotify and YouTube Premium are more expensive to buy through Apple, for example

 

Apple also has the rights to keep Epic off the App Store so it's a massive loss for Epic. I'm not sure how they ever thought they could try and force their way back on to another companies App Store.

I'll continue to use the App Store directly for purchases unless it's from a reputable company. The amount of dodgy apps that will appear now trying to trick users is going to spike.

Anybody here using VMware on their Mac/Macbook to run Windows? How well does it work/run? We use all Windows products at work but I'm trying to convince them to let me get reimbursed for the new MBP and use VMware to run our work (Windows specific) programs lol

I know I could Bootcamp it but I'd rather not

 

Does it have to be VMWare? I used Parallels a lot and it's magical.

obv. you're forced down the Intel way if that's the use case.

 

We already use VMware a ton and have a bunch of extra licenses for it so I imagine that's the only way I'd be able to convince them lol

 

just make sure you have enough cores and ram then virtualisation is no problem at all.

 

I've been trying out Apple Music on a free trial, and it's pretty cool so far, but I am perplexed as to why Apple thinks it's a good idea to randomly have albums with duplicate tracks for the censored and explicit versions of the song. Keeps making me think I put the player on repeat by accident

 

Actually, maybe that was just a bug? It kept doing it for Billie Eilish's newest album for a week or two but I can't seem to reproduce it now lol

I guess that's what I get for using an Apple service on an Android device lol. In my experience, there have been some fun quirks with their Apple Music app for Android, and their Apple TV+ app crashes my Roku fairly regularly when I don't have that issue with other apps. I have an Apple TV in the bedroom, but sometimes I want to watch Ted Lasso in the living room

 

I assume the answer is yes but does anyone know for sure if Apple takes trade ins in store? I saw on their website that they’d give me $170 for my 9.7 iPad Pro but I really don’t want to ship it
