Hey Guys! My new band Endless Nation has our first single "Red Rising" coming out tomorrow but I wanted to share it here first. Our first album "Barriers" is coming out on September 3rd. We recorded with CJ Ridings of Big Jesus and our second single "Howlers" features vocals from Tanner Merritt of O'Brother. RIYL: Mogwai, Caspian, pg.lost

New Ranges album.

Bit annoying with a 9 track album where 4 of the tracks were released beforehand, and then 4 of the remaining 5 are all ~minute long interludes, but regardless, probably my favourite Ranges album.

 

Just as well I had no idea they were building to anything so this is the first I heard of new Ranges music this year lmao

 

New album from Finland’s Horte: post rock/psych/Shoegaze/ambient and experimental all rolled into one. Out now on Pelagic.

New Glassing in November

 

Psychonaut side project. Album comes out next month on Pelagic. Post metal essentially with some groove. Some comparisons to Gojira for sure.

 

Post metal/rock with some doom elements. The vocal harmonies remind me of Alice In Chains a lot.

 

WEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL THEN it turns out that tiny morsel of hope only needed to last me 4 months - Overhead, The Albatross are working on new music. Don't know what specifically it will amount to, but when I asked if another full length was in the pipeline, they just responded by 'ing the message. So who the fuck knows. They've posted a couple short (stunning) clips on their Instagram, for any interested parties.

I'm freaking the fuck out right now.

Modern classical, chamber folk - super moody, like 95% strings with a bit of acoustic guitar, and no percussion

Honestly not really post-rock at all, but they use the term (for tagging purposes, anyway) and WherePostRockDwells recently posted this album on their YT channel, so fuck it that's a good enough reason for me to post it here.
