I assume the delay on it is based on whether or not they can frame the announcement as a cancellation or a postponement if they can rebook the tour.

 

Polyphia are direct openers for them and they canceled their US festival dates around their tour already

 

Pretty sure it's getting postponed. Their Europe dates got postponed

yeah not wrong but also not everyone is in his position to have enough money to never tour again and we're never exactly gonna be post covid

 

Yeah I get what he’s saying but the reality is most bands just can’t survive any longer without touring. For some artists/bands they’ve exhausted all online options and need these shows to continue making music and surviving.

 

He is definitely talking about this from a position of privilege, but I don't see a great solution because every path forward is a catach-22. Shut everything down and the industry suffers, but it limits the spread. Keep things open, and there's still risk of spread even with mitigation measures in place especially with continued mutations until we reach actual herd immunity.

just got an email that the Andrew WK tour dates were postponed until 2022, was supposed to start soon.

Just so strange still, I was supposed to have NFG and AWK back to back, now one of those is postponed and the other sure seems like it's happening regardless. such chaotic times

 

Damn I was thinking of doing the first night in LA for that but guess not. Would have been right after a night of NFG for me as well haha

Went to my first show in over a year it was to see whatever we are open for 8 graves not a big crowd at all cuz it was downgraded to smaller room so no one too close to each other

 

Anyone here go to Coheed and The Used last night in Irvine? There’s no way The Used’s set was as short as setlistfm is saying…
