I mean while this is true, the struggles a person with $2,000,000 dollars faces are probably far closer to the struggles a person with $2,000,000,000 dollars faces than the struggles a person with $2,000 faces. So I find it a bit uncomfortable to refer to someone with $2,000,000 as "poor" even relatively speaking.

 

Does…this mean mRNA vaccines are making men more potent? Lol

 

I very much feel this right now. Our school year starts tomorrow. Our board refuses to mandate masks. We are starting off optional. Many other school districts near us started off as optional but quickly reversed course to required. Our board still won’t budge despite seeing all the other local districts build their Covid case number and quarantines. We have one board member straight out of Fox News - literally protests on the street about masks/freedom (LOL). It’s sad.

Meanwhile, the Superintendent and I have done nothing but answer calls and emails all day, every day from concerned parents (myself included). We’ve forwarded every email to the board and just crickets. We’re having our first board meeting of the month tomorrow night and it’s gonna be a shit show. Even though we’re at masks optional, we’ve been told to expect at least 75 anti maskers are going to attend. I’ve been telling all the concerned parents to come to the meeting to directly address the board because as of now our administration doesn’t have power to require masks because it was officially determined to be a Board Policy as of July of 2020.

Don’t know how long we’ll be in in-person when quarantines alone will wipe us out pretty quickly. We didn’t have to quarantine much last year because everyone had masks on.

I couldn’t hate my job more right now.

 

The company I work for, a large Midwestern healthcare company, is having an all-staff meeting next week to address concerns about the vaccine and fertility. Because apparently enough people are concerned about that. In a healthcare organization.
