No co-op campaign at launch and a troubling development doesn't give me much hope

 

Damn I did not hear about the no co-op at launch.

 

Just 100%d Costume Quest 2. A fun little turn based RPG from Double Fine. Completion number 131. Time to roll into Psychonauts 2!

 

How long did it take you?

 

Why is THAT the ending they decided on in 12 Minutes??

 

About 8 - 10 hours

 

Absolutely baffling. Such an incredible letdown of a game.

 

I’m trying to get everything organized and I just wanna figure out what game in my backlog to beat first because I can’t keep buying games and never playing them

 

The opening sequence for psychonauts is pretty dope

 

You have my sympathies, as this is a problem I know well. It's tough. I mean, I can't not buy the games, because what if I want to play them? Then where will I be if it's not in my library? Steam sales and Humble Bundle have given me far more purchase power than any gamer should ever be allowed to have.

It's like Goldmember, except replace gold with games. Gamesmember.

 

Ummmm prob gonna play Death Stranding on PS5, never played and I like the QoL updates

 

Jokes gonna be on Sony when if even though HZD2 comes out 15 months after the PS5 I still can't buy one so I'll just save my money and play it and GOW2 on my PS4.

 

I canceled my Back 4 Blood preorder because my brother isn't planning on buying it anytime soon and that's not a game I'm going to play by myself. So I preordered Halo because he will definitely play that with me, but then Vase Full Of Pebbles informed me that co-op wouldn't immediately be available upon launch so I'm contemplating canceling that preorder as well. The only existing preorders I have are Metroid Dread and LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga (which we still don't have a release date for, right?).

 

The Halo edition Series X looks nice. Bummed that Lego Star Wars was delayed to 2022.

Saints Row is probably going to be bad anyway, but also we should make cinematic trailers illegal.

 

I forgot Deathloop, and Kena come out next month. Definitely more excited for Kena.

 

Death stranding was critically acclaimed and it's still the most underrated game in recent memory.

 

I haven't played it so I'm not saying it is good or bad (but based on what I saw I think it is at the very least interesting, which is becoming rarer and rarer), but I can tell you right now that critical acclaim is meaningless when it comes to a Kojima game lol

 

It doesn't hold a candle to some of the later levels.

Really excited for Kena, forgot about that. Tales of Arise, too. Might pick up Death Stranding again.
