Always should have been the 3rd single instead of Down. I feel like it's not only the better song but could have been a bigger hit than Down was.

 

Definitely. With the right push I bet it would have been one of their most popular songs

 

I don't get the hate for Down lol I like it. I like feeling this and other songs from the album more, but I don't wish it away from existence lol

 

I don't hate Down nor do I want it to go away (except from their set list because I've heard it many times live and there are better songs they could/should play, ditto for First Date). I think it's fine but it's kind of boring to me now, I have to be in the right mood to listen to it if I'm not listening to the album straight through.

 

Plus their music video to Always is damn good. One of their best ever.

Yup. Probably my favorite music video too. Can't go wrong with Alyssa Milano. Funny considering how dark the original idea for the video was.

Also, I thought how highly Tom talked of both Mark & Travis in the doc was awesome. I hope he never comes back to blink, but at least fixes that relationship.

 

I supported my country today by mailing my buddy who is out to sea in the navy a copy of California for him and his crew members to rock out to. Murica.

 

I had a rootbeer today, that my gf ordered over the internet for my bday last week. I love rootbeer, especially a&w, but they barely sell it here in Germany. Drinking aw makes me miss my second home, LA even more.

So I guess I supported the US too today! Yay!

If you're selling any VIP they Better Go with you, Adventures in Wonderland doesn't transfer VIP packages unless the ticket was transferred too and it takes some haggling to get them to do it

 

I think that's what I'll need to do--meet up with the person at the venue.

I have two VIP tickets. One for myself that I am still using and one for my brother who can no longer go.

 

I wish I had money to fly to Chicago lol

Just got home from the blink concert in CT, had a lot of fun. They played M&M's in the rotating spot which was cool sinceI haven't heard that live since the 2003 No Doubt tour I believe and that was only a short 30 second clip as part of a medley. Wish they played more songs from California but whatever it was great to see them live again. Mark messed up chords playing Cynical and almost started laughing. San Diego sounded great live.

Also I know I rag on them playing First Date and Down but Skiba sounded great on Down and First Date got a big reaction from the crowd so I get why they leave it in the set.

 

Just got back too. I couldn't have been happier with a four song stretch as I was with San Diego - Not Now - Violence - M&M's. First Date was fun live and it sounded good, and I've certainly ragged on it. Matt kills it on Stay Together and Reckless Abandon. Matt's voice in general was great. And from the videos I've watched I think that was the best Mark sounded on his BTD verse.

ADTR was pretty fun and I'm not an ATL fan at all but I admit they sounded good playing-wise.

Very happy with that show aside from having to put up with one fight that broke out next to me lol.

 

Loveddddddd first date live. Basically all of their singles are great concert songs too.

 

I agree with you that 4 song stretch was really good. I never heard Not Now live. The only song Matt didn't sound good in was Feeling This.

I thought ADTR was good, I don't know many songs by them bu they had good energy. ATL was a bit of a disappointment. Them trying to joke on stage wasn't very funny either.

All in all I enjoyed myself for sure.

 

Oh yeah, the joking was really bad. When he went on about whether he had a booger hanging out of his nose for a minute or two was awful. But successful night altogether. I had heard Not Now but from seeing Matt in vids, I really wanted to see him play it. Loved it.
