I still have a physical copy. I wasn't playing much of Halo's multiplayer back in those days. But I played Crimson Skies every day. Fun multiplayer and a really great single player.

is Star Wars Battlefront worth the $20 on sale for XB1?

Final Fantasy VIII makes no sense as an adult. The assassination attempt is so full of plot holes that it is pretty incredible how it was allowed to continue.

Depends, really. I loved the original Battlefronts, but I wasn't too peeved with the product EA put out on Launch Day like many were. The post-launch content has been fantastic too with the Death Store DLC dropping real soon. I've put a lot of hours in the current game and I enjoy it every time I play.

I just saw that there was the Death Star dlc coming soon and that's the real draw. might as well give it a try for $20.

    Top 7 of all time:

    Goldeneye
    Mariokart 64
    Halo/Halo 2
    Deus Ex
    Starcraft
    the Last of Us
    Mirrors Edge

Some of these aren't as fun to replay now, but at the time of release they changed the way I experienced video games. I think the Nintendo 64 came out with my all time favorite games. Maybe it was just my age at the time (13-18), but damn what a great generation.

I loved Firewatch. Would love to replay it sometime soon.

I fear that if I went back to the other Final Fantasy games that the result would be similar. Being text-based instead of voice acting hides a lot of the silliness of the plot.

True! That's one reason I think the FF7 remake may not work like we all think it will. I think things will need to be changed more than the fans want or it'll come across as ridiculous lol. I don't envy anyone who is tasked with remaking that game.

Did anyone else have problems jumping the correct way/direction they meant to in Shovel Knight? Really starting to think my left stick on my ps4 is misaligned. Or I'm terrible.

    As for the top seven...yeesh..um

    Secret of Mana
    A Link to the Past
    Goldeneye
    Max Payne/Max Payne 2
    Arkham City
    The Witcher 3
Flip a coin for Uncharted 4 or The Last of Us.

So many left out, mostly older like Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country 2, Super Mario Kart, Perfect Dark, Jet Force Gemini (damn, Rare used to be amazing until they sold their soul to Microsoft), Ocarina of Time...I totally broke the seven rule.

I played a few matches of battlefield 1 and it felt so cool just doing all the different things. I do remember lightning talking about how the controls felt a little clunky which was true for me also.

I might actually get this game first day since nothing else big comes out October.

I'm 10 hours into Resident Evil 4 and this game has aged remarkably well. I'm probably enjoying it more now than I did when I originally played it in 2005. This is an easy 9.5/10 and one of my favourite games.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

I've been playing through FFX for like the ninth time, and it's really hard to explain how important this game is to me. It's the first JRPG I ever played and finished, and the story will always hit close to home. What a game.
