I believe so. Attendance is so low right now and keeps dropping.

I thought I saw that it was because of thunderstorms? That a possibility?

I know there was a threat of a tropical storm yesterday. Don't know if that came to fruition, though, since it swung a little bit to the west.

All this talk about low crowds and stuff really has me torn. I have the staycation at the end of the month I was probably 90% towards cancelling because covid is so out of hand here but with low crowds and masks (+I’m vaccinated) I’m not sure anymore. I have been very safe up til now so I’m not sure if I’m being too paranoid.

We knew it was coming, but they just keep making the experience worse.

I’m torn….I used MaxPass in Disneyland and it worked great, and while it fucking sucks that Disney is going to nickel and dime everyone…I expected it to be more expensive than $15 per day. It’s not like you’ll need it every day of your trip, just the days when you want to make sure you get on certain rides.

I’ll try it out once and form my opinion at that point

I can't assume it is even that great for fifteen dollars considering what Universal charges for Express Pass.

If you could revisit the parks in any year that you’ve been alive, what year would you choose?

My wife & I have been talking a lot recently about Disney catering too much to those with money and pricing out families and normal vacationers and this is just more evidence. I could get behind it if it was like Maxpass and you got access to all the rides with the plus version but putting passes for the biggest rides behind an additional paywall is just scummy.

That idea is incredibly stupid. I hope this isn’t a knee jerk reaction to the low crowds. People were following the policy without much issue to my knowledge over the last few weeks and it costs them nothing to implement it.

I'm still waiting to see what the reports are like after this is rolled out before I get up in arms. It's definitely scummy to charge $15 then put the most popular rides behind another paywall, but this doesn't surprise me at all. When I Went in 2018, I felt like I was being nickel and dimed AND i had to book everything 60 days in advance.

I'm running the marathon in January so I'm going either way, but I might just limit how many days I go to the parks during the rest of my trip.
