It probably doesn't help that it's not really a remake.

 

Theres definitely plenty of fan service moments from the first one, but a majority of the game is original stuff.

 

I've only gotten past Meg twice so far but I gotta admit I'm actually having a lot of fun with this

 

Got into playing Dead Cells again, amazing how much they have shifted the difficulty around. There's also been 24(!!!) updates!! Excited to git gud again, took me a while to get the rust off yesterday.

 

I actually really want to jump back into DC

 

yeah I know they fleshed out a lot and added a bunch of stuff. It’s cool though. Actually getting me hyped for ffxvi.

I've never played a Tales game but Arise has got me intrigued. It's out on my birthday and I might just purchase it. I see it's meant to be a lot different from previous entries. Has a sorta Dragon Quest XI feel with the battles except it isn't turn based.

baldurs gate 2 on sale now which I have to get because I got the first one when it was on sale

 

Awesome! I actually have a party on the 10th for my friend's bday whose is on the 9th so I'd likely not get to it til the 11th. Seen a few trailers, gameplay etc and seems right up my street for JRPGs.

 

I would like to try Tales so maybe i’ll try it later in the winter if there’s a point where I’ve burned through all of the other releases I have ahead of it this fall

 

Tales of Arise will be a strong GOTY contender
