Dang, West Hills hits hard. I wasn’t expecting that.

 

This is *exactly* what i needed today

 

"West Hills" is insane. A very unique way to open a record.

 

Listened through once and the opener was my favorite. A hear a lot of stuff that reminds me of wear I grew up on this record.

 

I like talking about reviews, especially ones like Pitchfork and Vulture that tend to think more broadly about the music than "is it good". It injects new topics into the conversation, whether you agree with them or not.

I personally love ranking albums. Especially Weezer albums.

 

I blame Jack Antonoff for me just accepting something being intentionally muddy. Then I played Foxing and was like wait this doesn't sound normal. lol. fml.

so on my first listen: Quiet Town is the only one that didn't really do anything for me but hopefully it's a grower

West Hills is unreal. Cody is an early favorite. In The Car Outside is so catchy

 

Oh wow, I love knowing that.

 

Gotta say. I’m disappointed. I don’t care for this like at all.

 

The Getting By really, really hit

 

I can’t remember an album that sat this well with me on day 1 in a long time.
