Why give up two picks to for someone you're going to waive?

 

They give up Pleiss' contract which is 3mm and Marshall before his 2mm deal starts. So they felt the flexibility was worth it esp if they weren't going to pay any of these players.

2nd Rd picks are mostly irrelevant.

W/o digging into the trade, it looks like Utah is buying cap space via second round picks.

Long-time Bulls fan here. Can't wait to see what the new lineup does this season and how they just to the system. Always have been a Wade fan. Still upset to see Rose and Noah go though, but I hope they have a killer season too. Definitely going to be following what they're doing.
