That would make sense tbh. It’s a short tour already too so canning the whole thing is not shocking

 

LB get their best press in a decade and have to cancel a sold out tour. That really sucks.

 

So, I had a ticket for the Austin LB show but sold it on StubHub a couple days ago because I was worried about the Covid numbers in Austin.

It's a hard ticket, and I'm supposed to ship it, but I haven't yet.

Anyone know how I should handle this? Should I go ahead and ship the ticket, or just hold onto it? How will StubHub handle the situation?

 

Ship it just to avoid any issue in case there’s a postponement/rescheduled date

 

Well I got to see LBs first show out so…

 

I wonder how many (if any) Lalapalooza bands may have gotten it there.

 

There were some acts that jumped into the crowd like Jack Harlow, Freddie Gibbs, Grandson and Princess Nokia (from the ones I remember), I think even Jpegmafia was spitting in people's mouths. So I bet some acts that played Lolla will get it from there.

Just got out of Rise Against/Descendents/Menzingers and it was incredible. Been a long time since I could sing along to almost an entire bill.

 

yeah maybe it was being the first show back but i had a blast

 

Just got out of sad summer fest. The new all time low songs sound so good. They brought Heather from pale waves out for PMA and Demi Lovato for monsters. Had such a great time. Ahhh I miss this feeling

 

This is the only statement LB has made in regards to their tour. lol

 

Who knows what's going on with that. My date doesn't say it's been canceled yet on Ticketmaster.

I do wonder about bands Vax/anti Vax status with all these tours. If a band is anti Vax will they refuse to play venues in certain states or just get the Vax? I live in England and our government recently said that fully vaxxed visitors from America no longer need to quarantine meaning that bands can come and play. On the day that was announced Queens of the stone age pulled out of Reading/Leeds citing "restrictions and logistics" and then this past week Slam dunk announced Sum 41, Four Year Strong, Me First & The Gimme Gimmes, The Vandals, With Confidence, Crown The Empire, Ice Nine Kills & Free Throw will no longer be playing. I am not saying any of this is due to Vax status but it does seem a bit odd.

 

Yeah I’ve been curious about this too. Most of these bands don’t strike me as being part of the anti-vax crowd, but who knows

 

The optimist in me is saying the band/crew are isolating + getting tested before cancelling the rest of the dates. Otherwise wouldn't Livenation just cancel them all at once?
