It's close to a 100% probability that a vaccinated member of the Fall Out Boy camp caught COVID in Texas or Florida, causing them to pull out of a show in the biggest city in the country, & another top 10 market in Boston. I'm absolutely on team don't tour in the south until they put restrictions in place to keep their communities safe. NBA & MLB pulled their All Star Games from NC & GA due to governments making inhumane decisions, this should be no different.

 

I honestly don’t imagine any of the bands drawing much with the markets it’s in, regardless! Also, I was under the impression volumes was kinda far from a draw. They seem to be an opener for meh tours

 

gotta love these festivals where they get 1-2 headliners and then the rest of the bill is just whatever bar bands they could find

 

Went to Japanese Breakfast / Mannequin Pussy in Detroit last night and watched numerous people get turned away at the door for not being vaxxed. Pretty streamlined process and was happy to see it actually working.

 

honestly surprised there are fans of those bands who aren’t vaxxed

 

I think I said it in here a few weeks ago, I have quite a few close friends who I go to shows with that are super liberal/progressive, in their 20s, & are openly anti-vax. It's very perplexing

 

Were they people who already bought tickets? If so, were they given refunds?

Had to sell Bully tickets because my daughter can’t get vaxxed and my wife feels too weird about going to indoor shows. Bummed but not sure what else to do.

Yeah i talked to workers at the end of the Rochester show on Tuesday and they said they only had to turn away half a dozen people at the door but there was also about 100ish no shows

 

They were able to sell 3000 tickets the last time they were in London, and 1900 last time they were in Manchester. So yeah, they do alright over there.

 

Lincoln Hall and Schubas posted that they will be only vax too

 

sad summer fest is going vaxxed/negative test for the whole tour

 

wish all the other venues where doing this. now add theses 2 to metro with going vaxxed only and not accepting tests

 

I was there as well and felt very safe except for the asshole who kept vaping… lmao
