Damn, I got super excited for a split second, because this actually is a pretty solid lineup, but fuck Josh Woodard & ADTR.

 

You bring up a good point. Now that I think about it, we haven't seen any shutdowns from the government (at least at the time that I'm writing this) and Im pretty sure that they are saying that we have to live with it without saying it. They are pushing vaccines harder than ever now which they should since a large amount of the population doesn't want it.

 

I often wonder where we’d be right now if Trump had initially just told everyone to get vaccinated. Ugh.

 

Thought it was cool Lollapalooza was streamed on Hulu. Would be nice to see more of this going forward for music festivals/streaming services (after tickets are sold, of course).

Rage Against the Machine and Travis Scott are headlining Coachella 2022, Frank Ocean pushed to 2023.

 

Also Dababy was removed from the Governor's Ball lineup.

 

Frank Ocean was the reason that MCR dropped off, so I hope this means they're gonna headline again.

 

This aligns with what I think. My main annoyance is wearing a mask FOREVER seems to be a tough pill to swallow. I'd really like to just enjoy events without this paranoia. While it's obviously not THAT big of an inconvenience to wear a mask, it does get tiresome to wear for hours on end, particularly when trying to drink/eat and scream along to words. My first indoor show likely isn't until Sep so will be curious to see what numbers look like but I'd be wary of seeing someone inside a tight club at this point.

 

First show since February 2020 tonight. Masks and proof of either vaccination or negative covid test required. Bring it on

They’re not even an arena band in Chicago anymore hahaha. Serves them right for denying the allegations and keeping Josh in the band. They’ve fallen off hard since the recent allegations came to light.

 

Not only that but the new album sucks lool

 

Yeah, unfortunately I think that's the reason they are not playing arenas, more than the allegations

 

Yeah, it doesn’t seem like a lot of ADTR fans give a rat’s ass about that situation. I’m sure if the album was good, ADTR would’ve still kept their status

 

Chicago’s adtr date is the same night as angels and airwaves

 

LA adtr date is same night as mgk

 

The local ADTR date for my area is 5000 cap. Bumped up from the 3500 they did in 2019. All the comments i see are about how the album sucked lol

 

I just realized how rare it is that they actually play LA. They usually skip it and do the Self Help Fest in San Bernardino
