We were moving into a new place this weekend so my time playing was limited but still was able to do all the research tasks with ease. Only ended up with one shiny though (an Aron). My wife logged on for maybe 20 minutes total and somehow got 4 shinies in that time period. This game makes no sense to me sometimes lol

 

Got 7 wild shinies yesterday and I barely walked an hour. Had I known I'd be so lucky, I would have gone out much sooner than I did.

 

Only got 4 shinies Saturday and none Sunday…until after the event ended and I caught a shiny Wurmple.

 

Only got about 16ish shinies from the event, but am I the only one who got two Unown shinies? Maybe they were rarer than I thought.

 

I've barely seen anyone get a shiny Unown this year.

The requirements to get to each level after 40 fucking suck. These battle requirements for 44 are obnoxious. I feel like I need a second phone to do them. I absolutely hate battling online.

 

I had last year's Genesect research sit for 6 months because it required doing 10 pvp battles and I didn't want to.

 

I am sorta close to 44 and completed those challenges quickly cause I love the battling now, prob more than the other aspects at this point.

 

They changed the distance requirements for Pokestops and now I can't hit the one across the street form my desk. RIP.

Sucks especially for people like my wife and son. They just started playing during the pandemic so that’s all they’ve ever known

 

It's been so long that I forgot it wasn't the normal range.

 

Also found myself confused as to why I wasn’t able to spin a few when I was, in my head, for sure within range.

 

usually their decisions can be traced back easily to "we want them to pay to be able to do it" - but this change just makes absolutely no sense. i could see them wanting to reduce gym distances so that people continue to buy remote raid passes, but the pokestops just makes no sense at all.

 

I started playing in March so I never new the distances weren’t the norm. This is a bummer. Anything I could reach from my house or work desk is too far now.

 

It most likely has to do with the partnership poke stops

I'd imagine TPCi is trying to stir up interest for SwSh for one last sales push before the Gen IV remakes come out.

 

At this point I'm assuming that they're holding out on Arceus until the release of Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

My question is: Where's that freakin' Kecleon?!
