Wouldn't say he has "sucked" this year. He's got power and has driven in a lot of runs this year. He is clearly an upgrade on defense.

2019 he was great offensively. I completely ignore 2020 stats for anyone cause it was a weird season that a lot of guys struggled in.

 

I knew it sucked but was not trying to be harsh

 

His ops is rough because he's been all or nothing. Leads the league in strikeouts, his defensive has gone backwards.

I'm okay with it for rest of the year and maybe he bounces back but I'm not into baez long term at all. Its such a Yankees move.

Hmm, probably should have got another pitcher. Trevor Williams has been bad this year so he's not really one to trust either.

Right now I only have total faith in Stroman and maybe Megill. Everyone else has injury or consistency problems, but time will tell. I feel good about Carrasco coming back tonight, and hopefully, deGrom will stay healthy once back.

 

We're getting Lester for some reason?

 

To be fair, nobody they added at the deadline was gonna make any difference in the chances if degrom, noah, and carassco werent healthy in october. This team isnt winning with megill, stro, coin flip taijuan, rich hill, and max scherzer or trevor williams

the additions are good, and helpful, but the guys they have are the difference makers
