That explains why the setlist is lacking right now.

That’s decent, was hoping it’s be higher though some of that 8% may have lost their card and done a negative test. Additionally, some of the 600 that showed up also may have been vaxxed but just didn’t get the update to bring their credentials.

There's an INSANE line to get in to the Metro for Limp Bizkit, get there ASAP if you are going

Aly & Aj, All Time Low, kaytranada, Miley all so much fun. Miley did the perfect greatest hits setlist. She repped a little of everything I wanted to hear. It was a blast

Miley was so good. I wish I could have seen the entire set, but I had to leave so I could see Spiritbox…. What a phenomenal show by Spiritbox, my god. Limp Bizkit fans are no joke as well.

Limp Bizkit was so crazy. COVID restrictions were pretty much non existent.

Shout out to the guy who they brought on stage to do Full Nelson with them. He was awesome and he had a Britt Baker DMD shirt.

They did a weird version of Pollution. I got super excited at first but Fred delivered the chorus in a really annoying way and they cut the song half way.

I received an email about the Brittany Howard aftershow that they are now requiring masks at Thalia Hall. I suspect most venues are not going to that extent. Orville Peck had pretty much nonexistent masking.

I've been wearing one at Lolla and will wear one tonight at Jimmy Eat World. Not fucking around right now.

i'd still be going to JEW tonight if I knew people would wear masks or if they were checking for proof. super jealous, have a killer time for me!

Poor baby, you're starting to lose it.

Wore my mask at Limp last night and will at JEW tonight. Avoided crowds the few hours I was at the festival last night and plan to continue to do so.

As long as I'm masked I'll be in the crowds. I'm protecting myself as much as possible at that point. I'm going to pick up a couple OTC tests from Walgreens today to test myself early and late next week just for peace of mind.

Probably also going to grab a fresh one when leaving the festival tonight after Tyler so it's not gross for Jimmy Eat World.

I mean, I've done my fair share of questionable activities during this. Cubs game Sunday, dinner with a friend who told me yesterday that they had first degree exposure (but they also work at a hospital so it's minor for them), and now these concerts and Lolla. Only thing I can do is wear a mask and protect myself and get tested. I would have no idea when and where I caught it but I'm going to protect myself and others.

I'd also have no idea if I was actually sick. My allergies are awful right now with the terrible air quality and everything else. I've felt sick for a week but it's definitely allergies.

I'm absolutely concerned about shows/festivals later in August and beyond. The only thing I can think is that they need to require all people to show negative tests before entry regardless of vaccine status as a result of the delta variant.

I just wish more people were masking at Lolla. We know that outdoor transmission is a thing with the delta variant more than ever before.

oh no doubt, I have too. No judging at all, If I didn't have a young daughter I would be there masked up, but the metro is one of the venues for an aftershow that just rubs me the wrong way, especially after getting snap chats from a friend at limp bizkit last night.

I totally get it. Thalia Hall had some space and it's a giant, lofty room. Definitely less concerned in there. Metro - fuck that. That room gets stale air when no one is in there.

For reference on Metro aftershows: the Limp show last night was wall-to-wall people. If you've seen a sold out show there, you know what you're in store for. I would urge you to wear a mask because being in close quarters is unavoidable.

Fuck. We'll see how my anxiety handles that. I've been good in packed situations since reopening but open air. Might be entirely different tonight.

And might opt for a KN95 then.

The bizkit crowd was fine until they went on. That’s when I got uncomfortable. The back of the room was mostly masked up trying to avoid being on top of each other. At that point I feel like you’re already in the depths of hell. Hopefully being vaxxed and double masked helped.

Really cool all the Lolla teens taking the L without masks today. Definitely don’t hope they don’t get COVID or anything

I'm not an anti-maskers by any stretch but is still highly recommended to wear masks in large gatherings outdoors?

  22. chewbacca110

Poor baby, you're starting to lose it.

All the Lolla teens on the redline were also maskless heading there yesterday. None of it is surprising but that age and Lolla play into the whole "I'M GONNA LIVE FOREVERRRR" mindset. I wish them the best, but they're playing with fire.
