Not a fan of the chorus of Losing My Mind, but the rest of the song is pretty great!
Weird that we already have 5 out of 10 songs released from this album. They're definitely gonna release either Time Bomb or Automatic as the lead single in September too right before the album drops. Those sound like the catchiest of the bunch

 

First song I've really really enjoyed since TDW. Love it.

 

This song rules. Dream Walker is their second best album and this song is what that album tried to sound like.

 

I am honestly so confused with this roll out. Why not just do digital in August and physical in September given half the album is out?

 

This song is awesome. The video is hilarious. With the exception of Rebel Girl, I think the music videos released for this album have been the best ones they have. Simple is better.

 

The naked dude is hilarious.

 

I thought the video was pretty bad, lol. Feels like tom trying to be have that immature silliness from the earlier blink days but it just fell super flat for me and was pretty cringey.

Song is ok though. Only listened once and was pleasant enough, though I couldn’t tell you anything about it three hours later.

 

Given the amount of vinyl pre orders that have already sold, plus the streaming numbers from the 5 released singles so far, I'd think Rise would prefer to keep digital and physical as the same day release so that they can stack those first week numbers and possibly crack the Billboard Top 20 (AVA hasn't charted higher than #30 since I Empire, and I don't think Rise has had many albums chart much higher either).

 

I didnt even consider the charts. This makes a bunch of sense.

 

I want to listen to this, but holding back. Too many songs have been released on this upcoming album to the point where once I receive the album, there is no surprise. I miss those days, but unfortunately everything is about singles now. Cant vault Tom much.

 

It’s good to see Tom not taking himself too seriously.

This is honestly my favorite single from this album by quite a bit after more listens. Definitely didn’t expect it.

 

The past few DGD albums have been 13,14,15 on the Billboard 200, Memphis May Fire had an album make it to 4 on the 200. Don’t think the new AFI album made it on the chart though. Could be wrong. Long story short, really hope Rise/BMG can give AVA top 10 numbers.

 

Oh wow I didn't realize MMF was that big. Also shocked that AFI's new album didnt even chart, especially since their last 5 albums have all had Top 10 debuts.
But yeah, would be amazing to see AVA in the top 10 again. I don't think it'll chart that high, but I'm still anticipating better debuts than Dream Walker and Love.

 

Yeah, it seemed to be promoted well and I saw some copies in the few record shops I’ve been in. Guess people haven’t jumped on it. Also I’m sure the timing with the pandemic didn’t help.

 

That MMF album was at the peak of their popularity I wanna say almost 10 years ago now lol. They definitely wouldn’t do those numbers now I think

Edit: Yeah 2014. Their following album in 2016 was #42 and their 2018 album didn’t even hit the Top 200 apparently LOL so yeah they had a steep drop off.

 

Wish the car horn was in the actual song haha

 

Also, the bridge from the Covid Cure song would’ve worked SOOO well with this new song.

 

Video is fucking awesome.Don’t see a problem with Tom having fun.Always thought that original video for “Everythings Magic” was awesome excatly for that reason too.
Songs pretty catchy..I’m very happy with all the songs so far.This is shaping to be my favorite AvA record along with I-Empire.

I honestly don’t know if this is the best AVA song I’ve heard in years or the absolute worst. We shall see over the coming weeks.

 

It just bothers me that the chorus is the same two chords when my ears keep anticipating a note change towards the end.

 

Revisited All That's Left Is Love this morning and it really hit me. I think I love it now.
