Front and center for the Nashville show, they are debuting a new song tonight called PDA + playing favorite place with the band Camino

 

Even just that little clip on Instagram reels got me more excited than Once In A Lifetime did so I am STOKED for this one

New song seems like a banger. And that intro before the song kinda gave me Bo Burnham what. vibes

 

It’s been a while since any song has been this immediately locked in my head but this has the potential to be a top 5-10 ATL song for me haha

Wonder what part will be Pale Waves on the studio track?

Along with the new song last night, the set included themes and colors not previously associated with the band that leads me to believe that Once in a lifetime + Post Modern Anxiety are apart of a new project/ep

 

It’s probably an EP, but I would LOVE a new album already. But they could also be learning and adapting by just releasing new songs periodically for a bit.

 

They have been seen with producers like finneas, so I’m leaning towards maybe an ep being released towards the fall leg of this tour

 

Makes sense, would give the tour a push.

 

I think an incoming album could definitely be likely. This band has not had that much time off from touring like.. ever. No way they didn’t work on new music

 

I’d be surprised if they dropped 2 songs off something as short as an EP before announcing it, unless it’s like 6-7 songs I guess. Kind of hoping for the companion album to WUS that Alex was hinting at in interviews earlier this year when he was talking about folklore/evermore.
