In other news, in today's pop friendly world, I think When I Hit The Ground is a much more enjoyable listen than when it originally came out. It's aged well, for me, anyway. I think it might have been a little before it's time. I could see if it came out today people really loving it...

I think that kind of speaks to the entire Enders' discography though, everything gets better with time because most of his releases are kind of innovative for when they're released.

ah yeah, Simple Math, Wildlife, Hurry Up, We're Dreaming are excellent and Suburbia was great okay yeah 2011 is good
Doesn't beat 2014-Present though. 2011 might've been even better if the Menzingers album came out one year earlier mm, missed out. But I think Lenses Alien came out in 2011 dang okay upgraded to great year

fuck okay, 2011 was stacked and I didn't even realize it. ALSO man I sometimes forget about Section.80, never deleted it off my iPod but if I'm gonna listen to Kendrick it's not gonna be that one which is a shame bc it's really good. Also can't believe I forgot Joyce Manor's s/t or Algernon alright alright 2011 joins the upper ranks

Dig Up The Dead is an album I will probably listen to given how many times it's been on people's lists here. And the Bon Iver album i guess

  15. Never gave Dig Up The Dead half the chance that I gave New Best Friends, which I used to like quite a bit

many disagree, but DUTD has always been the watered down and less dynamic version of New Best Friends for me

No, no, no, no, no. Both records are fucking DOPE, but DUTD is clearly the better record. I hope they release something new soon. Probably early 2017...?

Has anyone gone to the solo Ace tour? Any mention of a new solo album being released soon? Also, if there's going to be a TMTMTP 10 year show it would have to be announced soon, right?

I don't see a TMTMTP 10 Year Tour happening cause they said in an interview once it'd be insane to play that front to back even once. But who knows!

  22. Maybe over three nights? Or maybe just two, since the third disc is pretty much just narrations and shit.

So you're thinking like a regional thing? Like maybe Jersey, NYC, or Philly type deal? That'd be a bummer. Also the Path is my favorite disc and it isn't close haha

  24. Is The Path the narration one? That's your favorite disc? Interesting!

But yeah, I bet if they were to do an anniversary show at all for it, it'd be regional, like the Rooms Too Cold shows were.

yep, that's the one. I'm a sucker for a well constructed narrative, and I love the way the music on that disc weaves in and out, telling the story really effortlessly. Love the other discs too, but that one just really caught me for some reason.
WELL that kind of sucks but also that makes sense so I'm not sure why I would've thought otherwise.
