This is so embarrassing but also hilarious I had a dream and the guy in it (loosely based off the guy I'm talking to?) said something and I was like "oh god.....I'm looking for my Jesse Lacey and you're more like an Isaac Brock soo..." *facepalm forever*

 

After one failed attempt to meet up, I decided to just say fuck it and asked if she wanted to still get together this week and to my surprise she seemed pretty enthusiastic about it and now i have a date on friday! (ﾉ^ヮ^)ﾉ*:・ﾟ✧

 

You have no clue how many times something like this has happened to me. Infuriating.

Getting angry over an emoji on a picture a year ago is kind of next-level jealousy. Maybe have a serious talk with her about why that would make her so jealous.

 

Nah, I wouldn't pick at it unless it happens frequently or one time after this one. She like you a lot to give that reaction out.

 

I think one does have to look at what underpins jealousy. Obviously, there is a sense that she isn't secure. What can you do to address it?

Long story I will condense:

I left my bag downstairs when I went to use the bathroom. My ex, for whatever reason, was going through it and found two condoms. Those condoms were given to me by a friend last week. She proceeded to yell at me, despite the fact that she is doing her own thing. I attempted to explain, but decided that, I have nothing to explain to her, since we only share a house together. Anyway, she has basically told me I have a week to find a new place and she wants me out. So, there's that.

 

First date tomorrow.
Been speaking to the girl via text all week, we've been getting on incredibly well, so I am really looking forward to it. Just going out for an early lunch and some casual afternoon drinks.
I really like this girl, so I'm hoping I don't come across as overly keen and scare her off. Just have to try and keep cool.
When we met, I was convinced she was miles out of my league and that I didn't stand a chance, so I didn't really think/care much about what I was saying. Now that I do stand a chance, I'm overthinking every single thing I say.

 

That sucks pretty badly. Does she actually have any right to ask you to leave? I mean, as in, does she own the place or is the lease in her name?

Not really sure how she feels she has the right to go through your things. I hope you pointed that out to her.

Maybe leaving isn't such a bad idea if she's going to behave like that.

 

I relate to that a lot right now. Been on a few dates and she comes off as really cool, and I'm hoping that doesn't mean she's uninterested or indifferent.

That's wrong on so many levels. I hate when a relationship ends but the partner acts like they still have a say in the things you do. Plus who goes through an ex's bag?!? You can come live with me.

 

It's getting too common of getting to know someone, texting a lot, planning to meet up, and then creeping their facebook page and seeing posts like Blue Lives Matter and having to bail. I guess that's one of the good things about Facebook

 

The house is owned by her. I moved in when we got engaged last year. I asked her why she was going through my things and she said she was looking for a lighter. She could have just asked me for one, but I suspect she was looking for evidence of something to justify her terrible vision of me.

I'm looking at places right now. Most of my friends don't really have large apartments/houses I can stay in, so I'm sort of stuck at the moment. There is a place I'm going to see next weekend. It's 695 a month. That's a little steep, but I'm considering it to get out from under her, quite honestly.

I think she sees it as sort of a way to like disempower me or something. It is quite frustrating. But yeah, thanks for the invitation! I've always wanted to go to Georgia and meet Gucci Mane anyway.

I met Gucci once before prison when he was fat with the icecream face tat. He was a complete asshole to us haha

If you want to meet a celeb go to Lenox Square and they're all over the place. We were eating lunch when Justin Beiber was there and it was pandemonium. We tried to get out of there ASAP.
