Hiatus.

 

I'm just going to see them all, Neck Deep included. I just wish Higher Power was on the US leg.

 

I saw them at BB&T Pavilion in 2017 which is pretty big (20,000 cap or so) and they came close to selling it out.

 

Dude, I wish I knew more people IRL who got vaxed. My parents, siblings, best friend, co-workers are all very anti-vax. My friend that I'm seeing Phish with in a few weeks is one of like 5 people I know IRL who also got the vaccination.

 

Suicideboys Grey Day Tour date popped up in Worcester. Openers are:
Chief Keef / Turnstile / Night Lovell / Germ / Shakewell / Ramirez / Chetta

 

I've never really listened to Suicideboys, but God, their tour lineups are always impeccable.

I’ve never really been into Suicideboys‘ scene of rap, but damn I love their wild mix of tour lineups. Love seeing Turnstile in there, or how they brought out Trash Talk their last tour. I wish more rap/hip hop acts had more eclectic lineups like this

 

I wish more tours had mixed genre bills.

I've been really shocked to see how many members of my friend group who are "progressive Liberals" in their 20s & 30s who are openly anti-vax. Meanwhile, my Boomer Trump supporting relatives were first in line to get vaxxed. It's been really eye opening for me, and another reminder to try not to see things black & white

Is the Glen Helen Ampitheater still considered "LA-area"? I remember seeing old Ozzfest/Projekt Revolution tour dates in the early 00's and thinking "weird that they aren't playing the 2nd biggest market" but that was probably due to my lack of understanding of Southern California.

 

Weird, everyone I know/speak with is vaxxed. Then again, I've lived in the NYC metro area my whole life with the exception of the 4 years I spent in college so I don't feel like I've actually ever lived in the proper United States. Wild that there is this prevailing attitude especially with the delta variant.

 

What kind of people do some of y’all associate with? I don’t know anyone who isn’t vaxxed except my crazy conspiracy theorist uncle who spends every waking moment perusing Facebook

I have a, unfortunately not data-driven, but supported by various anecdotes that the overwhelming majority of people going to attend large-scale events are vaccinated. While we might be at 60% of our 18+ population in the U.S. as vaccinated, it's important to remember that only a small percentage of that 60% consistently goes to attend large scale events/shows.
