To be fair those are suite prices aka probably enough food for 2-4 people

why pay 50 for chicken tenders when you could watch Giannis eat 50 nuggets instead

Honestly someone would have to fly me to Atlanta, buy me a LOT better food than that, and slip several crisp bills in my pocket just to get me stay for the first 20 min of the album lol

 

I've been in a suite one time when I was younger for a baseball game with my dad and his friend who managed to get a suite somehow and invited us, and iirc the food was already paid for? Like it was free reign to eat whatever we wanted, so I assumed that was the usual for most suites

 

Yeah usually it’s already paid for the company that owns/hosting the suite - those are usually the prices they pay haha

 

There's no way his Sunday concert at Rolling Loud goes well at all right? I fully expect a total disaster if he actually shows up. When was the last time he actually performed live outside of Sunday Service?

 

He has shown up for random features here and there during like travis Scott's fest. And then there was the kids see ghost performance. That was like the last actual kanye set. If he shows up during rolling loud it'll be during travis Scott's set for like 3 songs or like a 15 minute set on sunday

Isaiah Rashad just dropped a new song today and this will probably be better than anything off the Kanye album

his new album comes out next week and don’t sleep on it

let’s be honest it’s not that difficult to put on a low effort hip hop set and still end up doing pretty decently, especially if you just do shit the crowd knows

Idk what I expected, I thought just maybe the lack of a twitter rampage beforehand and a seemingly smooth release date would of meant that he actually had something ready lol

Apparently jay z and 2 Chainz recorded their verses just hours before so I really wouldn't be surprised if most of the Kanye parts were too and that is just... Such a bad plan... No one can make that shit sound good in such short time especially if you didn't even bother to write lyrics for most of it and just go "mmmrrrer ahhhg"

obviously i was skeptical going into it because of what a piece of shit he's turned into, but it was sincerely the worst reaction i've ever had to his music. i'll give the album a listen when it's out but i can't imagine my feeling about it being any different unless he scraps pretty much everything we heard last night lol

i don't care enough to go through and check myself, but were any of the clips that were posted leading up to this even in any of the tracks he played last night?

 

Plenty of rappers have made good projects within like 24 or 48 hours. Kanye maybe can't (he frankly was never a good enough rapper for that), but at this point I doubt he could make a particularly good Kanye album (I think he can still produce great albums for others) no matter hoow long he takes.

 

Baby Keem track, No Child Left Behind from the Beats commercial, I Know God Breathed On This, and Hurricane if you consider the demo has been out for two years

 

At this point i'm giving all the credit to Cudi on why Kids See Ghosts is a masterpiece, as that was the one bright spot from Kanye's career since 2016
