I know no one in here gives a shit but I’ve played WoW for legitimately half of my life so this is really depressing and reading some of that made me very sick.

Had a long talk in discord with some people I’ve played with for years and years (a lot who are women) and I think we all came to the conclusion that we can’t support the game anymore and will be taking our group of friends to a different MMO.

 

For if anyone was, like me, wondering why PSN (and apparently Steam) is down

it’s essentially Halos forge mode coming to battlefield. I’m sure we’ll see it during this event.

 

RE: Activision, I don't think I've seen a worse company statement... here a few snippets that stand out

Nice. I played 1 & 2 (never played 3) and I think 2 might be one of my favorite games of all time. I like 1, but i definitely felt the expansion to a bit more action in 2 was done perfectly without sacrificing what made the first great. I'll eagerly await this 'remake' and then hope for dead space 2.

EDIT: anyone replay 1 or 2 on PC lately and how have they held up? I played both on consoles right when they came out and haven't gone back to them in quite some time. Now I'm interested to.

To further elaborate on Dead Space: it will be a remake and will utilize the Frostbite engine.

I think it’s a child singing Twinkle Twinkle and it’s creepy as hell…

 

A quick note about Prey since I talked about this with Outer Worlds: I don't know how great it is for LGBT+ representation to have a lesbian couple in a game when one of them is already dead murdered by the damn "cook"and you only get a sense of their relationship through voice recordings, but I think it's cute that they're both Asian and they're playing DnD, that's nerdy af.

 

This game looks fantastic.

This game is getting a ton of hype. Good for them.

 

I've been following this one for a while and it looks badass but I'm a bit worried about what the solo experience will be like. I don't have any gamer friends for co-op so I hope it's a good experience just doing a solo game and that's not an after thought and it's built around 2 players.
