  14. Surely there are several franchise that'd be willing to take a crack at him if/when he feels in a good spot to come back right? I know he's late 20s but cmon

  21. do we think they had some minor league coach he respected have a talk with him like "bro TLR is gonna be dead in like a few yrs just wait it out, not everyone and not even every manager and not even every boomer manager is as asinine as him"

    that's what i'd do lol

Or tony himself actually reached out and talked with him. Also whatever happened has nothing to do with tony. The dude just stopped hitting that’s why he got sent down. He also has no real major league experience catching and isn’t doing very well in the minors. He has like 7 pass balls or something

tony said after the game yesterday after hearing about what he posted that he was gonna reach out to him personally and talk to him.

  23. I hope TLR talked to him and made things right! But as someone who has a lot more years under my belt of watching Tony manage a baseball team day in and day out, I highly highly doubt it lol. Dude's a curmudgeon and has been for decades and I cannot remember a single time he admitted he was wrong or apologized during his tenure as a Cardinal (sure I'd be too young to really remember the first several years but he was wrong a hell of a lot from 2007-11)

Eh I'm not gonna absolve Tony of shit, it was exactly when he got called out for the homer by Tony that his slump started. Not reasonable to think all rookies can brush that off as easy as Tatis did
