Great notion must have started distributing in new Jersey. Found this at my local bottle shop along with two other kinds. All three are tart ales. I hope we get more variety.

 

Nice, I've wanted to try that one. Does it taste like real aguas frescas?

Never had one I don't think but this one def has the strawberry flavor and is fairly tart. It's good but I assume a lot of sugar so one in a sitting for me.

 

They have started showing up in AZ recently too so must be branching out all over. I haven't grabbed any of it yet but I've seen good stock at pretty much all my local stops.

Jammy Pants, Blueberry Muffin are the two I've seen here.

 

Yeah, I love all their stuff but it's definitely a one-and-done kinda thing, not sessionable

Speaking of not being sessionable, I had this last night.



Started with the treatment I was least excited for of the four versions and it's solid. Not a HUGE variation on the original, but enough to notice

 

For my fellow Bostonites/greater New Englanders, the new Notch taproom in Brighton is so so awesome. So much space, such good beer, open til midnight on the weekend (what a breath of fresh air for a taproom around here goddamn)...it's magical.

 

Stopped at Allagash before heading home yesterday. Got their From Maine, With Love lager and a wild ale with quince fruit and my girlfriend got a barrel-aged tripel with cold brew

 

Was in Maine over the 4th and really enjoyed Allagash. Really enjoyed their From Maine, With Love saison. Did you hit up any of the other breweries on that strip?

I would mow down that beer list, good stuff. Cuivre is highly reccomended, it's from the bruery's anniversay series which is always great

thanks! my friends in real life liked it too, because of an incident one new years eve where i had too much black tuesday on my own and it killed me

 

I also feel like a lot of Tavour's social media is designed to offload whatever big boozy beer or marshmallow adjunct sour they have in inventory.

 

Tavour shipping sucks. Always delayed, left outside, not in any sort of temp controlled packaging. Ive had numerous beers come spoiled because of them. Might switch to just heavy ones or just end it completely. I’ve already given up on ordering ipas from them
