Loved those kinds of games.

 

Yeah Rift Apart

 

Oof I liked the idea of those handheld games but dont think I ever actually enjoyed them

 

Yeah because they were hard as shit

 

I had that Lion King game. It was...not good.

 

at least I know to not tune in now

 

The collectibles in Rift Apart are really fun

 

Getting all the weapons and even the pocket rifts, bears etc was so good. Must have been the quickest I've platinumed a game due to the amount of fun it was.

 

It's taken me a while with stuff we've had going on, kids, etc but yeah it's great. Just finished the planet where you skate with the turbo boots across the desert and it was absolutely gorgeous

 

Finished Prey in just under 30 hours. Sort of organically decided on a no powers, save everyone playthrough, which is weird because powers were my favorite part of Dishonored 2, my first playthrough of which involved killing every enemy.

I think I used up over 170 neuromods. I'd dedicated so much of my resources to fabricate so many that I was low on ammo, so once the black boxes arrived I avoided combat altogether and just sprinted from objective to objective haha.

I invested in Leverage early on just to clear blocked passages, but found that throwing heavy cargo at aliens was actually quite an efficient way of dealing with them. Also I think part of the reason why I went no powers was I relied so heavily on turrets in the beginning, I didn't want them attacking me.

I spent a lot of time exploring and gathering resources, doing almost every side quest I came across. I could've probably beat the game in less than half the time if I'd only focused on the main missions. But like. The story and ending were really fucking good holy shit

Part of me wants to do a yes powers New Game + and go for a more evil ending. Part of me wants to take a break from gaming. But I said the same thing after beating Darksiders 3...

 

I saw someone in a FB comment section going on about this Steam thing being the first good handheld since the Vita and if I didn't know that Vase likes the Switch I would think I found his true identity

 

Haha that's real good. I literally just bought three more games on Switch last night because even though I have a PS5 the portability of the Switch just makes me want everything on there.

 

What games though?

 

Early gameplay impressions of Psychonauts 2 appear to be positive. Can't wait.

 

Feel like this game has been coming out for three years now haha

Imagine trying to make a new Overwatch in the year 2021 lol it's even more of a boneheaded decision than trying to make a new BR. That money ship has long since sailed.

 

I'll try almost any F2P game but this looks like a quick delete after a match lol

 

This game looks incredible.

 

One game for Gamepass and the other an exclusive. Both are out tomorrow.

 

Death’s Door unfortunately is not on Game Pass, but it is Xbox exclusive for the time being, so I expect it to make its way there eventually
