Roman/Edge went longer than both MITB matches combined...with neither doing anything nearly as entertaining as the MITB matches

Honestly, without Brock, its the perfect time to give him the belt into like the Rumble. It does what they think Brock does...people tune in each week to see if he shows up, while getting legit press.

Cena showing back up to lose to Reigns is literally what they did 4 years ago and Roman is, if anything, less relevant than he was then.

 

The rumor I read for that is that it might possibly be a tag match to minimize Rock’s risk of injury. If that’s the case Roman doesn’t need the title at all.

 

Yup - no one Hollywood let’s him do 1 on 1

And even if it ends up 1v1 it’s a big enough match that it doesn’t need the title anyways

Reigns has been too damn good to drop the title to Cena right now. I wouldn't completely put it past them, but I don't think it's a good idea at all. When someone does eventually beat Roman, it should be a major coronation, not a quick rub for Cena on his way out the door again.

I'd keep that title on Reigns for as long as it takes to find someone interesting enough to truly benefit from taking it off of him. Maybe it's Big E if they really start to turn a corner on him. Right now, he's the only one that seems to make even a modicum of sense.

 

The thought of Cena and Rock in a tag match together now has me wondering... if they did Roman + Usos vs Cena and friends who would be Cean and the Rock's third? Edge?
