Wonder how different this demo is from the final - hope it’s pretty substantial

 

I would have to assume that, I feel like a band as big as them wouldn't basically spoil an unreleased song by releasing an identical but lesser version of it.

 

all 3 new songs make me feel like this record's going to be a huge return to form for them. the last record was bad.

 

The new song is in the right direction. I like it.

 

Sounded better in the car - still probably needed a bigger bridge/swell at the end

 

My favorite LANY is slow LANY. Give me stuff like current location, ilysb, hericane, let me know, valentine’s day

 

After listening to the self titled again I’m pretty sure it’s my favorite.

I mean his early lyrics all give the impression he's a self-obsessed immature dope but if you're like 25 and dumb there's a charm in that. Especially with the melodies they were churning out

The majority of his music sucking since 2017 gives me little reason to hang on tho

 

His lyrics have always rubbed me the wrong way even more so now. Him being a manipulative playboy is pretty much on the same level as someone who cheats. I won’t stop listening but I don’t blame those who do.

So long as he isn’t doing it to underage fans or physically assaulting them I see it as a personal matter between him and whoever he talks to.

 

Despite the creepiness - new song is another banger

 

It’s alright. While the new songs have been good they’re just missing the magic that everything up to Malibu Nights had.
