I still need to watch The Wire. I bought the series on DVD like 10 years ago and just never cracked into it.

 

Man I wish there were more than 2 season of the mole on Netflix. I’m burning through them while working.

 

A friend of mine from high school that I haven’t talked to in a while was on Are You The One a few seasons ago. Dying to see him at my 10 year reunion in a few months and ask him about it haha.

 

Was it the most recent queer season? That season was absolutely bananas

 

I assume they are the classic seasons and not a reboot right? They only ever made two seasons plus a celeb season, nothing else

 

yeah classic seasons. IMDB says 5 seasons but looks like a different host.

 

pshhh Anderson Cooper was the ONLY host

but yeah, i totally forgot there were more. I LOVED that show when it was on, really think it would make for a good reboot

 

No, although I did love that season. It was season 6, the weird New Orleans season.

 

yeah this is prime for a reboot. It’s a lot of fun. Any recommendations for something similar? I was going to check out the amazing race next probably.

 

Amazing Race is definitely fun, but certainly more straightforward when it comes to like... how the game is played, etc. My all time favorite is Survivor, it started the whole reality competition show trend and in my opinion it's still the best. Plus, watching the show evolve over time is fascinating. If you want something completely modern, The Circle is actually pretty damn fun. It's cheesy and chincey but has more real emotion than you may expect.

 

I am so enthralled.

 

I learned last week that the network I work for actually had Sexy Beasts 5 years ago. It flopped in the ratings. So we sold the format rights. Looks like we were ahead of the times! I watched our produced episodes and it was pretty addicting lol

 

What did you not like about it?

This is incredible IF all the episodes are there. It’s spotty with classic sitcoms, sadly.

 

Fear street 1994. God damn do i hate movies and TV shows that go out of their way to shove it down your throats that "its the 90s". Lmao they legit played like 8 different songs in the first 10minutes, shoe horned AOL and beepers, and toss in some video games and malls....

In case you forgot. This movie takes place "in the 90s". And! I'm gonna put on my angry comic book guy hat, as most of this shit was well after 1994.

Oh and the movie itself is shit. Awful dialogue. Ridiculous characters. All taking place in this "town" that's not real (in the sense that no one exists outside our characters)

AMC was like "Can we just do The Terror again? We got all this fucking ice left over from the last show..."

 

It felt like Sam got an ending and they thought they had another season to handle everyone else. Felt like a lot of stuff they planted seeds for went completely unaddressed. I really hate what they did with Casey and Izzie’s characters as well

 

Virgih river. Shoot me in the face haha How is this 7th Heaven esque Christian values show still on TV and still this popular

 

Sword of Trust on Netflix is a randomly amusing & easy watch
