According to Travis' snapchat they are playing Man Overboard tonight in the Josie/Don't Leave Me/Kings of the Weekend slot.

Have they played Man Overboard yet this tour? I would be surprised if they haven't bt I haven't been paying too much attention to the non California songs.

 

Hey guys, I've been pretty absent from this thread for the last month or so. I was curious, has Tom ever mentioned anything about the new Blink record yet? A simple tweet, anything..just want to know if he had posted anything about it at all

Just that he likes his stuff edgy....but that might not have been in reference to the album

 

They played Man Overboard when I saw them in Milwaukee in July, but that technically wasn't yet part of this tour.

 

They played it in San Diego on the second date of the tour at least

Am I the only one who can´t stop singing "Dear yead, shut up" and "... Bahaus stuck in her yeaaaad!" and so on....?

I feel almost the same. Looking back now, I don't really care much for Always / STFTK, but I'll take Josie over Man Overboard at a blink show any day.

 

The only singles I'm not a big fan nowadays of would be Down and First Date. I just think there are way better songs on both of those albums that they could have used. Especially Down, I get why they went with First Date, but Down while a fine song just isn't very radio friendly. They probably should have released Always as the 3rd single and then either All of This or Stockholm as the 4th.

 

I used to love Down, but I agree that I find myself a bit bored while they play it live now.

 

ATST and first date are the only singles I got tired of. I still even like down

 

My favorite singles are probably Josie, What's My Age Again?, and Feeling This.

This year, "Josie" has become probably my favorite Blink single. That song rules.

 

I love both All Of This and Stockholm but both of those would have done WAY, WAY worse as a single than Down.

 

Yeah Stockholm is the best song on there but that would have fucking flopped as a single haha. I think they made the right choices and they're all popular. Maybe Easy Target could have been a left-field single but it's still a little too weird for radio

 

Easily a top 5 blink song for me but it wouldn't have gotten a sniff at radio. I feel like Here's Your Letter is the only other song that maybe could've worked as a single.

 

Yeah you both are probably right. The more I think about that album besides Feeling This, I Miss You, Down and Always they really don't have any real radio friendly singles.

 

I think Always would do so much better as a single now. 80s synth is so hot right now
