starting ratchet and clank on my ps5

 

I finished the game last night and i was surprised at how much i enjoyed it! I knew i was going to like it but the graphics, the dualsense feedback etc really made it a great experience.

 

Currently playing through it and loving it! I feel like it's quite long, but maybe that's just me.

 

Platinumed R&C yesterday. I love that they didn't make it feel like a chore to platinum; I enjoyed every sec.

 

I love finding the optional rifts in Rift Apart

 

I think it maybe feels longer than you’d expect because you bounce back to previous planets in the middle of the story. But overall the length of it feels just about right to me.

 

That's definitely part of it, I just feel like it takes a long time to complete the main objective on each planet but maybe that's just me. I tend to stick to shorter linear games so this very well just be a bias on my part. I really love R&C though so there's are no complaints from me and I just love how gorgeous the have looks and plays

 

A really cool feature of the PS5 that I'm loving is the fact that when you hit the home button while on a game it tells you the % and approximate time to complete things. Maybe that's only on R&C but either way I love that feature a lot

 

It’s the same feature that’s on the XBOX and the achievement tracker as far as I know. Certain games have it and some don’t. It’s a very cool feature though.

 

Is it just on Series S/X or X1 too? I know about the achievement tracker but it's not quite the same

 

Yeah the achievement tracker only tracks achievement progress, which depending on the game is very different from actual progress

 

Definitely feel like this happens in other games as well. I'm playing through Miles Morales right now, and it does it - Although that's another Insomniac game so that could be why. I'll have to pay better attention in the future.

You can just go to the game hub and it tells you the %. Different than the achievement tracker.

oh who am I kidding I always want sunset overdrive sequel

 

I know it says more info coming soon but I'm wondering if the new dlc is free for people who already have Wild Hunt on Steam etc.

 

I thought the new dlc was just pure Netflix content put into the game

 

I thought it was cool you could change the bolts to be Overcharge

 

I didn’t even pay attention to the extras so that sick

 

I know it’s a short game but I feel like I’m already close to the end lol
