Its quality music (I assume) and quality packaging. Seems like a fair price. Only offering $12 shipping is kinda wack tho. I would take my chances with media mail lol.

Yeah the packaging is pretty sweet. The matte black is always a good look imo. I think I'm just very selective with my vinyl buys lately especially with the huge delays.

Speaking of this album though, Im insanely excited to hear them play some of these songs live this fall. It'll be almost a year out from release and I've been dying to see these guys again. Famine Asylum is gonna go tf off assuming they play it.

I've sold a bunch of records through eBay and it's incredibly easy to ship a record through media mail for cheap and ensure that it's safe.

So maybe I'm an idiot but side A is a live in-studio set, and then side B is a reimagining of the demo?

  5. they want to make sure the vinyl arrives safely I guess

I think side A and B have the live set and then side B also has a second groove thats the demo experiment. So depending on where you place the needle it will play one or the other. I have a United Nations 7" that has two grooves and will play the same song but with two different endings.

Wish has been granted! Looks like the video is region locked for me atm so I'll have to use a VPN to hear it later or on my phone. Assuming its officially dropping tomorrow and the inversed artwork in the thumbnail seems to hint at a possible deluxe version of the LP:

yeah Im expecting it to just immediately disappear, so I'm clicking it like every few minutes just in case it opens up. Its my favorite record of 2020 so Im not even second guessing getting it.

I looked at a few old emails from relapse and it looks like it will go live around 10am. (I could be wrong but I feel like they go on sale a few minutes earlier)

im confused. is it a 12" vinyl for just the three b-sides? or are they re-pressing the full album with the b-sides added?

Just the 3. I was hoping it would be a deluxe edition with the extra tracks

The vinyl is dope looking, and the song is cool. But I'm gonna skip pre-ordering it for now. After picking up the Converge and All That Remains reissues in the last couple of days, my vinyl budget is shot for the month.

I'm also trying to figure out where I'm at with them pressing this as a one-sided 12". I definitely enjoy the full-size treatment and the art that come with a 12", but if the material could be put out as a 7" or 10" - why not just do that? Is it more economical this way because they can justify pushing it out for $20 as opposed to $8-$15? I remember reading somewhere that 7"s generally get you less ROI so I was wondering.

With 10”s im pretty sure they press them at 12 inches and then shave off the excess (and recycle it ) so it costs the same to make as a 12 inch and isn’t cost effective. And seven inches suck.
