Tammy Craps and Claire’s video nearly killed me

 

I had a friend who worked on the show and she sent me a Tammy Craps sticker, a calicocutpants sticker and a shirt from the Dan flash store

 

I've never seen this show before and I just watched every episode in one evening. Goddamn.

 

The tables. Fuck.

 

I laughed so fucking hard when the wrestler ad started.

 

Idk if there’s a term for this, but I really adore more than anything that small moment where you get the first little hint at absurdity in these sketches. Like in the one where they’re at dinner with the professor — everything is completely normal and mundane, they get the food, and the guy goes “I shoulda got that”. And it’s not a joke in itself or even particularly funny, but the tone is tweaked just enough that I immediately get a huge smile and start laughing under my breath because it’s now clear what’s coming

I guess all this to say that I love Tim vein-pop screaming about mudpies or whatever but it’s really his mastery of escalation that makes this show so special to me

 

I've seen some people say it's not as quotable as season 1, but the last few pages of this thread clearly disproves that

 

Guys. I can’t believe how good this was. I was honestly kinda worried after the first episode. From ep 3 on it just got more, and more absolutely ridiculous. Holy shit.

Was also so happy to see Patti in 2 skits.

 

I immediately see a few of them being ripe with screen caps to use in other contexts lol. Namely I Don’t Know How To Drive, Court Room Texts, Carson Impersonator, Everything is Upside Down, and the Blues Brothers Dance ones

Just remembering all the absurdity is killing me. Perfect season. Can’t wait to watch multiple times this weekend.
