That's neat but I'll miss being able to watch them live from my house. I don't live near NJ soooo.

2022 is obviously the year of new Thursday music.

They've been recording something. Either new versions of old songs, new songs entirely, or a mixture of both, but they definitely have made it clear that they've been working in a studio.

I think we're getting a reworked Full Collapse, and then the potential for new music down the line

We've already gotten new live versions of Understanding and Cross Out The Eyes so that counts as new music.

Geoff has said actual new songs will happen as long as they think they are good enough to add to their catalog. And I have all my faith in this group of guys writing some great new songs.

I’ve seen them tour together once before and it was a fucking blast. Going to do my best to get tickets for the Atlanta show.

Don’t know what the eastern is but since I don’t think I’m going to furnace fest anymore this will be a nice consolation.

I’d never heard of it before either, but apparently it’s a new venue.

Yeah I did some investigating. I have a couple of friends that live walking distance to it. I don’t think it’s open yet.

Yeah, I was wondering where there was and apparently I live right by it but doesn't sound like it's officially open yet, saw bunch of shows booked in the future so we will see!

Geoff on Peer Pleasure last week said they do get together and write music.

Also said he has an album done... didn't specify what it was though so could be a solo thing. Could be the waiting re-press, who knows since Dewey didn't request any further info on it.

He also said they have a studio version of Tightwire they did but there's a part in it he wasn't crazy about.

It's a good listen. The new album must be No Devotion which seems to have been in the works/close to done for a while now!

  21. I hope so. I remember when one of you guys stumbled upon a somewhat tease / press release from their supposedly new label, and I think it looked like it was written back in summer 2020? Surely, this must be out sometimes this year... maybe?
