I'm not sure why we'd loan him out again without an obligation to buy. He's just come off the back of a good season for PSG so his stock is high. If they want him again they need to pay up, this is one of the richest clubs in the world we're talking about here!

As if he's only 33. For some reason I though he was pushing more than that.

Biggest signing of the summer lads.

But really this means one of De Gea or Henderson is leaving.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

Who do you think is worth more as a sale currently? Wondering if De Gea is still the big money guy or whether the last couple of years have dented that now.

  8. Toby asking to leave isn’t a surprise. It’s the right time to move on.

Kroos retired from the German national team. Seems about... one World Cup too soon.

We would get more money in transfer fees selling Henderson, but more wages off the books selling De Gea. He’s paid too much and been too poor the last two seasons to really command a high fee. Add to that, none of the teams that could give him a similar wage need a keeper.

Could we’ll be true but everything I have heard from reliable sources said our deal was finished weeks ago and basically when he returns from the Euros he will be announced.

I would be a little surprised but it’s not beyond our ability to mess it up.

yep. one of Hendo/DDG is off.

    hmmm

Surely it has to be DDG. Heaton's 35 so he fits as the experienced backup, with Henderson as the undisputed no.1.

I feel like it might not even mean any of them are leaving? Hendo No 1, DDG No 2, Heaton No 3, Grant as a glorified GK coach (which is what he was anyway really).

Only thing is that they might want DDG's wages off the books given he's the No 2 now.

My office is dead, so downloaded the Univision Prende app to watch the games on my phone today. This'll be good for my battery life.

I think it would have to be De Gea.

Henderson to Spurs as a long term Lloris replacement maybe? DDG on a free is probably the only way he could realistically be moved given his wages.

  22. We were linked to Henderson in the last year but I haven't seen anything about it recently. I'd be happy if we did that though.

Absolutely no way United sell Hendo, especially to a direct rival. Literally goes against everything they stand for as a club.

There were rumours that Ole wasn’t a fan of his attitude a bit back. I’d say we would want to get rid of DDG more than Hendo, but Hendo would have more suitors than DDG for reasons I outlined above.

Ideally this would play out just like it would in FIFA, where you would put DDG up for sale and some dice roll of a big team would come in and spend 60 million on him and we’d be done with it.
