Its always so strange to hear Christians attribute some odd sort of holy power to the least religious person ever attempting to pass as a Republican.

 

It's strange they do that for a number of terrible people outside of politics as well.

 

Another note, I'm amazed that we as a society still take a little time out of our lives to continue listen to the rambling, incoherent responses from Bachmann's mouth.

 

People who say outrageous things tend to get the most attention.

 

I find myself relating to that more and more as my adult life continues forward.

cmon guys don't lump together an entire enormous diverse religious body and then dehumanize them - i assume the bloc you're thikning of is the white evangelical vote but christians of color, nominal christians, and non-evangelicals diverge from that (i would expect LGBTQ christians do as well but i didn't see data on that) and it's like pretty shitty to throw them all in as one ideology.

 

That would ideally be what I was thinking of. I should of been more clear about that, that's on me.

 

All american Muslims have to deal with shit because of a small violent faction. If internet comments are the worst American Christians deal with, I assure you it can be much much worse.

for sure. i'm just saying let's not do it to Christians either. it's hurtful to Christians who are social minorities and it's not in line with what we - or at least i - believe progressivism stands for.

honestly as soon as they needed to close more than a single store for the e coli risk i was like aight im done. it was pretty tasty the single time i went before that though.

 

I don't usually eat mexican and/or southwestern food, but in Delaware we have a small local chain that crushes Chipotle.

 

You don't even eat like local sit down Mexican?

Genuine (well genuine with an American emphasis on flour tortilla) Mexican cuisine is the best stuff out there. But, then again, a large portion, if not a majority, of Mexican restaurant personnel around these parts are undocumented immigrants. I imagine those populations thin out as you go that far Northeast. I try to make a point to diversify and patronize all the small international food places in the city, but once I find "my" Mexican establishment (which I recently did), there's no chance I won't eat there at least once a month.
