This also makes me uncertain about the next Youth Fountain album as they pulled Cody from that band.

 

I was just wondering why Real Friends fell off my radar, guess it was due to them semi breaking up. Feels like a different band with the new vocalist, but “Nervous Wreck” is a solid jam so I'll be putting this band back on my radar.

 

I wondered where the new guy was from! That youth fountain album was great

 

oh man.....didn't realize this was the dude from Youth Fountain. Really enjoyed their album more than anything Real Friends has done, disappointing. I've been a casual fan of Real Friends so I guess that will continue, just as long he can really belt out a solid "bony knees"

 

It was my favorite album in 2019. So good.

 

I really like Real Friends and will give this formation a chance. Dan seems happy doing Rationale.

But man if this screws with Youth Fountain I’ll be a little pissed. Hopefully they’ll be able to release another solid album without Cody. Can’t see him being in both bands.

He got kicked out. Reasons unknown as far as I know

 

From what I’ve gathered he has been dealing with some mental health stuff and had to cancel several tours to try and get healthy.

My guess is the band was tired of this and wanted to be out touring so he got the boot as touring was not helping his mental state.
