Ticketmaster just did a ticket drop for Foo Fighters' MSG show tomorrow. Must've been production holds.
Me and a buddy were able to snag tickets. Separated by a row, but fuck it. I cant believe I'm going to an arena concert tomorrow!

I was just thinking about you the other day! It will sell about the same as the Taking Back Sunday tour they did.

 

I can def see Limp Bizkit doing 500 - 800 cap venues. Probably bigger venues in the Midwest.

 

The overwhelming majority of people who are going to attend a Limp Bizkit show don’t care

Oh, no way. If they tour again, it’d be the standard 2K LiveNation/HOB rooms or larger in some markets.

 

Lmao, no way is LB playing 500 cap room. They can easily do 5-10 times that, especially depending on the support.

 

Limp Bizkit is playing between Rise Against and Rob Zombie (who's closing the show) on the day they're on Blue Ridge Rock Festival. So I'd say it's safe to assume they'd play rooms pretty close to what those two artists play on a normal headliner or co-headliner.

 

You underestimate what LB can draw

 

Limp Bizkit last played NYC in 2014 and it was at a 2,100 capacity venue. I think it eventually sold out but it was far from instant.

 

LBs career doesn’t make sense. In 2013 they couldn’t sell out the HOB Chicago. In 2021 they sold out the Metro in a couple seconds. When did they go from being the most hated band to a very in demand band?

I’m pretty sure that well over half the people seeing LB are there ironically. Source: saw LB ironically and had a great fucking time.

 

Nostalgia, plus they haven't toured in the US in 7 years.

They also put on a killer show which helps

 

They played the Chicago area in 2017 for free. They’re also doing another free show in a couple weeks. So it’s just odd that they sold out the metro so quick when there’s another option for free.

also! Not trying to argue. I will be attending all the LB shows. They’re a sick band but it’s weird how it went from hated to acceptable in a couple year span.

 

Yeah they’ve only played festivals in the US the pat few years. I’m sure there’s a demand for a headliner
