Got my Austin tickets this morning!

 

Interesting blink tidbits and alien stuff on that Astro Ben Podcast Tom was on.

 

On the Empire Club live chat this morning, Tom said he was considering calling Restless Souls "Letters from God" because the lyrics are from the perspective of god responding to humans. Pretty cool to know.

 

Any other news or interesting details mentioned?

 

Honestly not really. It was only about 25 minutes. He said The War is currently in the set list for this year but is unsure if it will stay.

 

He confirmed he did a thing for Mark's radio show too, not sure if that was mentioned here.

Snagged a ticket for SLC. Haven’t seen them since I-Empire came out. Except for a small acoustic set in 2018 or something.

 

Opted for a seated ticket at the MD date. Haven't been to shows in a long time so we'll see how these legs do on their first show back.

 

First time seeing AVA and I got floor tickets I'm very excited

Detroit was a freaking party back in 2019

I’m seriously considering Detroit since there is no Chicago headline date.

It’s so awesome they have Bad Suns as support. They put on a great live show. Solid discography too.

Kinda perfect for AVA too bc Bad Suns draws a younger crowd.

 

Tom said tht next video they going to release is ,,funny”....can’t imagine funny video for Restless Souls so hopefully it’s Automatic!Those 10 seconds that leaked the other day were amazing and it would make sense why it leaked.
Maybe Rise doing same thing they did with AFI and going to send out more than half of the album before the actual release date?

 

I still think we will end up getting a deluxe version of this a month or so after release.

 

oh boy, Restless Souls is really bad, worst song from them I've heard in a while
