I mean, historically speaking this QB situation is akin to playing russian roulette with a knife so really either way...

 

I hear you. But of the two, at least Gabbert goes through his progressions and can make a quick decision. From what I've seen so far this preseason, Kaep is no better at reads than he has been in the past and is actually taking longer than normal to get the ball out (the latter could be because he still has some rust on him, of course).

yeah this is about how i would react if i was a Vikings fan. I feel for you.

Honestly though the Vikings still win at least 8 games and maybe even make the playoffs depending on which QB they turn to. You have a great roster and a smart head coach, I'm sure this season won't be totally kaput.

 

Kinda awful timing on Kaep's stand for them, otherwise he'd be easier to trade. Truth is, any team that traded for him would want a re-worked deal where they pay him less, and Im not sure Kaep has incentive to aid in that

 

I was really looking forward to the Bortles/Bridgewater rematch from their Louisville/UCF matchup in college. I hope he's alright.

the Vikings were 8-2 last year when Bridgewater threw for less than 200 yards. Their team is still good enough to compete even with average to below average QB play

 

well they beat teams around it's stout defense, I just think people expected him to keep progressing this year and relying less on AP on the offensive end.
