Didn’t the new album kind of flop? A small venue tour would be really smart for them, not sure they can pull arena numbers on this album cycle.

 

How did it flop?

They can absolutely 100% put up arena numbers.

 

this was a long time ago, but still could be something about an "arena" tour

 

The album debuted at number three, and over three million people watched their record release show. I'm pretty sure they can still do arenas.

 

without being sure what this is for or how small, I’ll just say one of the coolest venues in Columbus is Donatos Basement because it is literally the basement of a Donatos Pizza

 

I was just looking at streaming stats, it’s not even in the Top 50 chart in Spotify. Just seemed like there wasn’t a crossover radio hit and the buzz has been pretty minimal.

 

The album hasn't even been out for one month.

This ain't flopping.

And that's just Spotify.

 

Does appear to be a small-venue 21P tour.

In 2019 I got tickets for TOP at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago which is a 5K capacity venue. It was a really stressful experience that I dont want to do again, but here we are.

Yeah, I'd say their still an Arena size band.

 

Odd they chose Boston over NYC but maybe more cities coming.
