I like your RB depth but your WR depth is terrible lol also not sure why you need Wilson and Brady

 

I grabbed Brady pretty late and was happy to take him. Hopefully, gonna use Wilson as trade bait later.

 

Looks like you'll be able to make a major trade Week 5, so long Wilson performs well in the first 4 games, which is a good bet he will.

 

It's stunning to me how low Brady has been ranked in all my drafts. I get that he's suspended the first four games, but LeVeon Bell is suspended first 3 games, yet is taken in 1st or 2nd round in most drafts. Once he comes back, Brady will wreak havoc.

Brady is like the 10th ranked QB in most drafts which is insane. I grabbed him in one of my leagues in the 9th or 10th round and couldn't be happier.

 

To me, Fantasy Football is more about playing the waiver wire than it is about the draft. Normally every year, mid-year I'll look at my drafted team and see how different it's changed in the first 5-6 weeks due to drops and pick-ups.

 

buying low in trades is hard

 

I've got my first of two drafts tonight and I can't wait. I'm struggling though with my top 10 WR rankings because it's standard scoring and I've never done standard before, only 0.5 PPR. Thoughts?

1. Antonio Brown
2. Odell Beckham Jr.
3. Julio Jones
4. A.J. Green
5. DeAndre Hopkins
6. Allen Robinson
7. Jordy Nelson
8. Brandon Marshall
9. Keenan Allen
10. Alshon Jeffery

 

I like Hopkins and Robinson above Green. Otherwise looks pretty good.

 

I put Green up there because I feel like he's poised for a strong start that could find him finishing in the top 5 with the lack of Eifert for 4-6 weeks and no Jones or Sanu. I think Hopkins and Robinson will have a a bit difficulty finishing in the top 5 again, but I still really like both for the top 10. The Ivory and Miller signings just have me expecting slightly less from Robinson and Hopkins than their totals from last year. That's just my thought process. I'd take Green round one, maybe Hopkins. If Hopkins were in round two, I'd feel much better about taking him. I like where Robinson is falling most of the time though.

Low expectations are a thing too lol

 

That's true, but normally the team who drafts someone has reasonably high, if not crazy, expectations for him. (Unless someone autodrafted or something like that!)

 

Well that too but I mean one person can think someone is gonna break out and the other isn't. Maybe someone got a steal late and isn't sold they'll produce. Theres different circumstances.

Idk. I seem to like my team a lot less than my friends do. Not having Ajayi and Henry as cuffs worries me a lot.

I reached like hell for Steve Smith. I have no idea why he's ranked so low. He was a monster last year. Yeah, he's old, but he was old last year too.

Just got finished with my first draft and I think it went pretty well overall. 10-team, standard scoring. I'm a bit concerned about my RB depth, but I'm a fan of pretty much everything else:

QB: Cam Newton, Tyrod Taylor
WR: Jordy Nelson, Keenan Allen, John Brown, Josh Gordon, Mohamed Sanu, Corey Coleman
RB: David Johnson, Matt Forte, Ryan Mathews, Isaiah Crowell
TE: Delanie Walker, Tyler Eifert
D/ST: Panthers
K: Graham Gano

 

Meh. Don't know how I feel about this.

Also yeah, that team is a little rough. Looks a lot better though of Jordy is Jordy again.

 

Can I ask why you drafted two kickers? and three tight ends?

Ouch.

 

I have no idea who the 3rd round pick was on that team

 

because I so didn't care the last three rounds i set it on auto draft and made dinner.

I got David Johnson, Jamaal Charles, Dez, Jordy, Reed AND Greg Olsen. AT PICK 6. THEY ALL SKIPPED DJ AND TIGHT ENDS IN THE FIRST 5 ROUNDS

I think they all were scared of the Injury sign in the Yahoo draft. I'm projected to win the league and finish first on the Yahoo Report Card thing.

If I don't finish in the money, I need to quit.
