that song felt like a bunch of other AVA songs repurposed and smashed together. this one's my least favorite so far, for sure.

It's a catchy song - definitely a better version of Dry Your Eyes.

 

I think I'm going to hold off on pre-ordering the record, and instead use that money to buy a ticket to their show here.

Has anyone listen to the instant download tracks? Are the mixes really different on Kiss and Tell and Rebel Girl?

Sounds like an Ava song, lol. It’s enjoyable enough. Similar thoughts as Kiss and Tell, where it feels like two or three ideas for different songs crammed into one.
I’m sure it will be fun live, at least. Though I’ll probably skip the tour.

 

Damn these are some of the coolest variants I’ve seen for any band in a while.

Love the “Dry Your Eyes” re-release

EDIT: I posted this before reading the thread and didn't see everyone else noticed the similarities. Joking aside, this is a good song. Preordered two of the remaining signed variants.

 

‘Don’t you cry’ is just another way of saying ‘dry your eyes.’ And then I want to finish the chorus by saying ‘sometime it comes with a shove when you fall in love’
